Our Smooth leather is renowned for its stiffness, especially at first, and its exceptional durability. You can polish it for shine or let it wear and scuff for character. You decide. Clean it with a damp cloth and care for it with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish.
All our Goodyear-welted models are heat-sealed at 700 ºC and reinforced with our iconic welt stitching.

Smooth leather is a classic: it's been with us from the beginning, it's known for its durability and can be polished to a brilliant shine or artistic scuffs.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe away dirt with a damp cloth and allow to dry. Then apply a neutral or colored Dr. Martens polish, depending on the material. Rub the leather with Dr. Martens shoe brush to restore shine.
